Prerequisite: Graduate of Reiki Master program with Reiki Arts Continuum, plus application and permission of director

Would you like to understand the basics of being an effective and compelling teacher? In this basic teacher training you will explore theory and practice in teaching Reiki, receive private mentoring and coaching, and observe actual classes being taught.

Program includes:
  • Two-day teaching course covers:
    • Teaching principles
    • Application of intuitive awareness in teaching
    • Boundaries and ethics
    • Hayashi attunement practice
    • Usui reiju practice
    • How to structure Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 classes and outlines
    • Secrets of effective demonstrations
    • Spiritual centering practice
    • Q&A
  • Two (2) phone mentoring/coachings (1 hour each) on teaching and related topics of your choice
  • Observation of Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 classes (one of each level) at the NY Open Center
  • Written and reading assignments
  • Use of Reiki Arts Continuum materials upon certification

Upon completion of all requirements, you will receive certification as a Reiki Master Teacher with notation of accomplishment and satisfaction of all requirements of this 50-hour program.

Tuition: $875 (payment plans are available)

The next Basic Teacher Training course is September 12 & 13, 2009.
