Reiki Arts Continuum in New York City is dedicated to teaching the heart, mind and body of the Reiki System of Natural Healing. Accessing inner wisdom through meditation is the heart of the Reiki System. Symbols, the mind of the Reiki System, provide an organizing focus and a fulcrum for the energy. The body of the Reiki System is the embodiment, application and transmission of spiritual energy.
Reiki Arts Continuum believes that the best way to fully integrate the heart, mind and body of the Reiki System is gradual learning. This becomes increasingly important as a practitioner progresses in their training and experience.
Each level of Reiki System training augments a practitioner's skills and understanding in heart, mind and body, and amplifies their ability to embody and focus rei-ki or spiritual energy. With amplification, comes a corresponding intensification and activation within the practitioner. Thus, the greater the commitment and dedication a practitioner makes to the Reiki System and spiritual healing work, the greater will be the call for the practitioner's own healing and transformation.

Overview of Training
Foundational Courses: For Yourself, Family and Friends
Reiki 1 — "The Entrance"
The emphasis in the first level is self-care and spiritual centering practice. Application is by physical touch on or above the body.
Reiki 2 — "Deeper Within"
In Reiki 2 the emphasis on self-care and spiritual centering practice continues with the introduction of three symbols (shirushi). This allows the practitioner to focus rei-ki or spiritual energy mentally as well as physically.
Reiki Master Practitioner — "The Mystery" ~ A 450-Hour Triple-Certificate Program. An intensive program for those individuals who wish to practice at the Reiki Master level and who want to make a serious commitment to the study and practice of Reiki and spiritual healing, their own healing journey, and self-mastery. Graduates fulfilling all requirements receive certification as a Reiki Master, Spiritual Healing Practitioner, and in Spiritual Counseling.
Teacher Training — "The Way Shower" ~ A 50-Hour Certificate Program. Teacher training is for those who want to teach the Reiki System of Natural Healing to others. . The program consists of basic teaching concepts and skills, theory, practice, observing seminars, learning the attunement process, and individual mentoring and coaching. Teacher Training graduates are Independent Teachers of Reiki and can form their own schools.
Teaching Practicum — "Alchemy" ~ A 120-Hour Certificate Program. Experience and confidence is built through teaching Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 courses at the NY Open Center. The program includes private instruction, extensive individualized mentoring and coaching, and exploring the deeper spiritual path and commitment of teaching. This program is available by invitation only.
